David Bledsole
Lead Singer
David was born in Greensboro, NC , June 5, 1945. He was the oldest child of
Rev. James and Viola Bledsole. As children, David, Don, his younger brother
and Margaret, their sister, sang as a gospel group in different churches throughout
the Greensboro area.
God’s
Word will not return void was proven in David’s life. Even though being
raised in church, He wasn’t saved until 1987 after the death of his wife
, Elizabeth. They had five children, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
His oldest son is a pastor in Burlington, NC.
David remarried in 1990 to Patricia Guffey who has three children, five grandchildren
and one grandchild.
After the recovery from a heart attack five years ago, David founded the group
Called Out. The name of the group later began Called Out Ministries because
David believes that the up lifting of the name of Jesus through song, is our
ministry.
The present group has been together about a year. Through their ministry and
with the leadership of the Lord there have been one hundred and twenty five
precious souls saved from Hell and thus added to the growing Kingdom of Jesus
Christ.
